Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Sansa Group AB, Gothenburg, Sweden, acting through its Sansavision division (“we”). By installing or using DemoTake or our cloud services, you agree to them. If you use DemoTake for an organisation, you confirm you can bind it. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. Business customers may also sign our DPA.
If you obtain DemoTake Studio from the Mac App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple handles purchases and refunds.
Licences & plans
- Local (one-time): a perpetual, non-transferable licence to use the version you bought and any updates released during the included 12-month update period, for the number of users stated at purchase.
- Subscriptions (Director, Team): access to the plan's features while your subscription is active. Features marked “coming soon” are not part of what you pay for until released.
- You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer (except where the law allows) or circumvent licence checks.
Acceptable use
Don't use DemoTake to:
- record people, conversations or content without the consent or legal right required where you are;
- access, operate or automate systems or accounts you aren't authorised to use;
- create deceptive recordings intended to misrepresent how software behaves, including to app reviewers;
- infringe intellectual property or violate the terms of the apps and sites you record;
- abuse, overload or attempt to break our cloud services.
Agents & automation
DemoTake lets AI agents you choose observe and, in DemoTake Agent, operate apps on your Mac. You decide which agents to connect and what they may do. You are responsible for the actions they take through DemoTake, as if you had taken them yourself. Use test data and demo accounts wherever possible, and don't give agents control of systems where a mistaken action could cause harm.
Your content
You own your recordings, takes and exports. We claim no rights in them. If you upload content to our cloud features, you grant us a limited licence to store, process and display it solely to provide those features to you and the people you share it with.
AI output
AI features can make mistakes—misclassifying a scene, missing something that should be redacted, or suggesting an edit you don't want. Review takes before you publish them. Secret Guard reduces risk but can't guarantee every sensitive item is detected.
Third-party services
Agents, model providers, OpenRouter and other services you connect are governed by their own terms. We're not responsible for them.
Payment & refunds
Prices are shown on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period. Refund terms and your statutory withdrawal rights as an EU consumer will be set out here before direct sales open.
Disclaimers & liability
DemoTake is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Termination
You can stop using DemoTake at any time. We may suspend or end access to cloud features if you seriously breach these terms. Your perpetual Local licence survives unless it was obtained or used in breach of these terms.
Governing law
Swedish law governs these terms, and the courts of Gothenburg, Sweden have jurisdiction, without depriving consumers of the protection of mandatory laws or courts of their country of residence.
